Scandinavian Modern, textured crystal featuring bubbles in different sizes. The glass is fixed on a polished brass base (plate), slightly smaller than the glass piece. The shades are fixed with 2 brass knobs to thin polished brass wall mountings.
When the sconces are lit, the textured crystal glass creates a soft illumination and beautiful light is spread in every direction.
1 bulb, Edison screw-fitting (E14/E12). Original wiring, works perfectly.
Great vintage condition, no chips, cracks or other damage to the glass. The brass plates have beautiful patina.

Swedish glass and lighting designer Carl Fagerlund was born in Kalmar, Sweden in 1915. He trained in Stockholm and became a drawing teacher in 1943. From 1946 to 1980 he worked as lighting architect and designer at the acclaimed Swedish glassworks Orrefors Glasbruk, named after the small town in southern Sweden where it was situated and renowned for its high quality crystal and art glass.
