Green Colorful Eclectic Art Deco Table Lamp by the Swedish sculptor and designer Einar Luterkort for Upsala-Ekeby. The lamp was produced during the 1940's.
A green glazed ceramic table lamp with contrasting black and design and a distinctive relief depicting figures.
A Bold and Brave Table Lamp with the surface is animated by a distinctive relief depicting figures / human naked bodies, gracefully integrated into the ceramic.
The lamp base is marked EKEBY 3031.
Good vintage condition. No damages or structural issues. The black dot seen on the last picture is original black color from the production, no damage.
Normal wear consistent with age and use.
Shade is sold separately.

Einar Luterkort (1905-1981)
Einar studied at Kungliga Konsthögskolan in Stockholm 1926-29, École des Beaux-Arts in Paris 1929, Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma 1930 and at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München 1931.
He had his first solo exhibition in Rome in 1930. In 1931 he moved back to Sweden and worked at Upsala-Ekeby for a short period. During the mid-1930s he also worked at Motala Lerkärlsfabrik as a designer.
